I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this family. I've known the Fletcher family for 6 years now, and my family adores them. They are some of the most influential and life-changing people I've ever met, and they continue to push the bar and do greater things every year. It's a blessing just to know them. My story with Phil and Nicolle and their kids begins 6 years ago, when my husband introduced me to their ministry. They started a non-profit here in town called Th
It's only taken me a YEAR to get this blog post up, but better late than never, right? Being huge and pregnant and tired, and then having a newborn and being tired...I took an extended maternity leave. ;) You understand, right? But now I'm back in action, just in time for Fall sessions! My favorite!
I had the pleasure of doing three separate sessions of Hayley, and can I just say that I love this gal? She's so genuine and fun-loving. You can see her and Zach's engagements
This was my third year to photograph little Miss Brynna. You can see her last two sessions here and here. Her family and I always have so much fun at her sessions. If you look back at her previous sessions you will see that her momma always has such cute ideas and props and we genuinely have fun. I personally believe that's the only way to do toddler sessions! Enjoy a few of my favorites from her 3-year-old sesson below. Dad decided to help Brynna get momma wet. ;) And here's
I met up with my sister-in-law, Danielle, after a family get-together. You can see their gender reveal here, and their in-home lifestyle maternity session here. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. We walked down by the river in their hometown and waited for the sunset. As we were taking photos, an old man walked by and told a few inappropriate jokes and made us pretty uncomfortable. We laughed it off and continued on with our session. After we finished the session, we went to
From the moment we found out my sister-in-law Danielle was pregnant, we started planning her maternity sessions. Yes, I say sessions because we did two. ;) And a gender reveal (which you can see here). And we'll do a in-hospital newborn session. And and in-home newborn session. What can I say, family being pregnant is a newborn photographers dream!
Here is part one of Danielle + Keaton's in-home lifestyle maternity session. I hope you enjoy a peek in to their ADORABLE nurs
I know Jill through my husband. Jill's dad used to be the pastor of the church that my husband attending during high school. Plainly put, Jill is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Her parents are also foster parents, so we're kind of linked that way. Jill contacted me early in the Fall about planning a super secret session of her and her siblings and cousins. She wanted to surprise her mom with photos for Christmas, and as Jill told me, her mom is IMPOSSIBLE to surpri
The Dotson Family is very dear to me. Katy and I first met as staff members of The City of Hope Outreach. I was drawn to her from day one because she's so sweet and genuine. After she had her first baby, a sweet girl, Katy asked me to take her newborn photos. It was my first newborn session ever and I didn't have a clue what I was doing, but she was gracious and even referred her father to me for a few headshots for his compaign for judge, (Please forgive me if I got that wro
My friend, Nicolle, has inadvertantly taught me almost everything I know about birth. She's a living, breathing, encycolpedia of everything pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post-partum care. She's pretty amazing, to say the least, and she's empowering women all over the Central Arkansas area with her doula work.. (If you're pregnant, I HIGHTLY recommend checking her out here. Her and the other doulas at Birth by Design are invaluable.
All of that to say, Nicolle is the one
If you've followed along with my work, or if you know me personally, then it will come to you as no surprise when I say I LOVE babies. Maternity and newborn photography is where my heart is. When Jessi contacted me for her sweet little boy's newborn session, I couldn't wait. I go to church with two of Jessi's sisters, and it is always extra special for me to get to capture monumental life moments for people who are close to me. I'd never met Jessi or her husband Jordan, but w
I was so happy when Brynna's mom contacted me to do Brynna's two year photo session. I had done her one year cake smash the year before, and it was so much fun! You can see those photos here. Her mom always brings along the best props, and we always have a lot of fun. Brynna is a sweet little girl with a lot of spunk! Here are a few of my favorites from Brynna's May 2014 birthday session! Enjoy! Sometimes the outtakes are my favorites. This is the face Brynna makes when you a
